Conversation with Saving the Original File

Is it possible to implement a conversation with saving the original file by adding just a symbol “+” before the extension?

For example, I have a Word document

“example.docx” and want to preserve the original and have the PDF version of the Word document. I want to rename

“example.docx” → “example.+pdf” and after that I will have 2 files: “example.docx” and “example.pdf”

Hi there, thanks for your feature request! This is already possible, actually. To do this, simply check the “Keep original” checkbox in the confirmation popup before a conversion. If you use “Convert immediately” (and therefore don’t see confirmation popups), check it in the “Rules” tab in the app’s settings instead. For example, you can set up a rule for DOCX to PDF conversions to “convert immediately” and “keep the original”.

It should be possible to also do this via a multi-extension rename (i.e. rename example.docx to example.docx, pdf), but I think there’s some issues with this right now – I’ll have a look at that in the next release.

Let me know if I misunderstood something! :)
