Shrinking size of PDF and Images

Do you know such useful application like clop? https://lowtechguys.com/clop/ Can you implement similar functionality in your application?

For example, if I want to shrink PDF file I rename it to "PDF-" and the Consul app compress it and rename it to "PDF" again. The same is with JPG. We rename it to "JPG-" and your app compress it and rename it to "JPG" again.

    This took a while longer than expected, but it’s now available in Consul 2.0: Rename “document.pdf” or “image.jpg” to e.g. “document.pdf+min” for a best-effort minified version, or “image.jpg+5mb” for a version with the best-possible quality at 5 MB! “min” is available for both documents and images, specific file sizes are available for images.

    Hi Alexander! Thanks for your feature request. I’m sorry this has been open for a while – so far, same-file transformations like this haven’t quite fit into the way Consul works. But, good news: They are now on the roadmap for an upcoming big release. I’ll give an update as soon as it lands, which should be relatively soon!
